Spring Trends Made Pint Size

This week, I attended one of my favorite trade shows, the Children’s Club. This international exhibition features every category of children’s clothing, from newborn to size 12. Taking place four times a year here in New York City, I make sure to never miss it.

Right now, most of the vendors are previewing their Spring Collections for 2017, so it’s always a treat to see styles and trends ahead of time.

First stop: I was literally stopped in my tracks when I saw the frocks from Luna Luna’s Collection. Luna Luna was one of my favorite brands when Siella was little, but for two years I had a hard time finding more of their offerings. After learning the brand had taken a two year hiatus, I was happy to find out and report they are back in action, continuing with layers of tulle and sequins in many of their looks.

Dolce Goccia is a luxury layette children apparel & accessories brand, featuring 100% cotton delicate knits from sizes newborn to 10 years, including unique outfits for special occasions. The lovely Dolce Goccia collections are made from the most beautiful fabrics with the finest quality standards. Each piece is designed with simplicity, soft knits and elegance in mind.

Showaflops are a must have next summer season. Some may think the holes on the soles serve only as a fashion statement, but they actually improve drainage, allowing the sandal to dry faster, which helps prevent bacteria and mold. I immediately thought how handy these would be for my kids’ swim classes, and long days in the spray grounds. So great that they come in lots of fun colors and prints.

Hannah Banana, a collection by Sara Sara, features fun, trendy, hip clothing for girls, tween. The theme for their collection this season is all about florals. I love the pastel prints mixed with deep tones.

Accessory Alert! I nearly flipped over these American Jewel accessories. American Jewel Gummy Bags and Yummy Gummy Bags have become one of the most fun and popular accessories anywhere. Oh, and they are scented, so they smell delicious. Choose from scents like Cotton Candy, Watermelon, Sugar Cookie, Hawaiian Ice and Pink Lemonade.

Hudson Kids can always be found in my little ones’ closets. Check out these new trends for spring- military and patches! I’m so digging their new vest, which I’ve been told was a huge seller this season. And how cute are these patchwork cut off shorts!

Check out this super cool suiting by Carlucci Kids. The brand offers a full range of well tailored, top quality, designs for both boys and girls. Their Spring 2017 collection was spot on, and I cannot wait until it hits stores!

It may be a kids line, but I think I wanted every piece in the Stella Cove Spring Collection for myself! Featuring beach styles like coverups, bathing suits and dresses, the girls lived in their pieces all summer.

In all the shows I attend, the spring collections are probably my most favorite time to shop. It always offers some light at the end of the tunnel as we go into these winter months.

Thank you Children’s Club for sponsoring this post.

  1. What adorable pieces! These are super cute. That tulle dress would be so cute on my littlest gal, who I am dying to dress in adorable little things like his since my older girls (10 and 9) I never did it with!

  2. I love it! I like it when there are more clothes made available for the kids and they’re stylish too. My daughter loves dressing up and I make sure I also let her decide which clothes to pick, she has awesome style and I’m sure she’ll love these.
