In The Holiday Spirit With Spirit Cruise

Just in time to kick off our two week holiday break, my family and I spent the afternoon aboard Spirit’s Jingle Bell Holiday Cruise. We headed over to Chelsea Piers to board the gigantic yacht. We were first escorted to our table in the main dining area. Jason and I enjoyed the open bar with Mimosa’s, while the kids had Shirley Temples!  And boy did they feel special. The scene was so festive with holiday music playing and colorful lights strung throughout the ship. Ryder and Siella took window seats and just stared out watching the scenery go by.

Just our luck the day turned out to be the warmest day in NYC for the month of December, with temps reaching the mid 60’s! Once we were sailing, we headed outside the front deck to check out the amazing views. The day was so nice we didn’t even need our jackets. It was beyond lovely! The two hour cruise goes up the Hudson River towards the Statue of Liberty, then over to the East River underneath the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. I took as many pictures as possible as I didn’t want to miss a moment!

Spirit Cruises offers lunch and dinner cruises for the most unique holiday celebration on the water. Guests can enjoy yummy buffets, attentive service, lively performances, dancing, festive holiday décor and dazzling views of New York’s world-renowned skyline. This two-and-a-half hour event features the two-hour cruise, bountiful lunch buffet, jolly holiday music and, of course…spectacular views!

Overall, it was the perfect afternoon with my family! And we would all go back in a heartbeat! I am looking forward to booking a trip during the warmer months and make it a date night for Jason and I.

In fact, we loved this cruise so much that we bought tickets immediately afterwards to give to my parents for Christmas gifts (shhh)! We are sending them on a Valentine’s lunch date! Such a perfect holiday gift and wonderful activity to do with your family for any occasion!
